January 9-10, 2009
Visual AIDS invites artists to participate in our 11th Annual Postcards >From the Edge. We are looking for artists to donate a 4" x 6" original work on paper for the exhibition and sale. Painting, drawing, photography, printmaking and mixed media are all welcome.
Postcards From the Edge is a unique show and sale of original, postcard-size artwork on paper by established and emerging artists. Artwork is exhibited anonymously with the artists' signatures only on the back of the work. While guests receive a list of all participating artists, they do not know who created which piece until it is purchased and the artist's name revealed. All works are priced at only $75 each and sold first-come, first-served. Collectors and art lovers from all over attend this much-anticipated event! It’s a great way to both get a wonderful piece of original art and support the important work of Visual AIDS.
Here's how to participate:
1. Create or attach your original artwork on any 4"x6" heavy-weight paper.
2. Sign and print your name on the BACK only.
