Socially Engaged Works Focused on Textiles & Fashion

This is an open call to artists and designers making work that are socially engaged works surrounding issues of textiles such as labor, production, mending or the recycling. We are also interested in seeing work that presents issues surrounding the fashion industry specific to garment production, pattern making, textiles, sustainability, wearable technology, surface distortions etc.
We are showcasing a survey of artists, designers, and collectives engaged in a dialogue with textiles and the fashion industry. We will review application materials as they are received.
- Maximum of 10 high-quality images submitted.
- Label each jpg file with your name and an assigned number of 1-10. For example: joe_blythe_01.jpg and/or provide the URL link for video content
- Provide image list as a .doc or .rtf with the following info: title, dimensions, date, materials
- Artist Statement with Contact Info
- $10 submission fee
