One of BERLINER LISTE’s special focuses has always been to showcase galleries as well as single artists. We invite our visitors to get in touch with artists like Andrey Kezzyn from Russia, Edvardas Racevicius, Visuman and Henriette Simon from Germany, ARTEM-REICH from Switzerland or Jordan Seiler from the USA, and discover the programs of galleries such as DUB Gallery | Czech Republik, Pine Wood Fine Art | Germany and German Pop Art Gallery | Germany.
Almost half of the exhibitors come from abroad, including the Kalashnikovv Gallery from South Africa, artist Martin George from Australia and Gallery Art & Space 312 from the Republic of Korea. Special highlights are the several-ton heavy sculptures by Taiwanese artist Kang Mu-Xiang, who upcycled disused elevator ropes of steel to modern sculptures, and the curated exhibition Japanese Young Artist Group (JYAG). An exhibition as never seen before in Germany shows 113 contemporary Japanese artists.
Following a successful launch at the KÖLNER LISTE 2016, the Urban Art Section is to debut in Berlin, curated by gallery owner and street art aficionado Guillaume Trotin. Visitors are invited into dialogue with exhibitors like Urban Spree Gallery, Open Walls Gallery, Thomas Marecki and Doppeldenk.

This year, KÖLNER LISTE and BERLINER LISTE are delighted to announce a partnership with Absolut Vodka. This brand has been closely associated with the art world for decades, the iconic bottles having inspired the likes of Keith Haring and Andy Warhol. The Absolut Art Bar is part of the brand’s international art funding and engagement – and will be a pop up element of this year’s fair for the first time, designed by young Berlin artist Clemens Behr.
