Are you an experienced visual artist / art teacher / arts administrator with excellent technical skills and who understands the potential benefits of artistic expression for people with mental health problems?
We are seeking an Arts Co-ordinator working 15 hours per week to manage the Art Studio and the organisational development of arts at Bethlem Royal Hospital including the gallery. The arts provision at Bethlem is testament to the power of art and its role in aiding recovery and sustaining wellbeing. Bethlem Arts along with the gallery has developed a reputation over ten years as a showcase for artists who often feel excluded from the art world.
We are seeking someone with vision and expertise to lead the arts service into its next decade. You will lead in supporting the creative workshops in the Art Studio, facilitating arts residencies and be involved in curating and promoting the work of the gallery. The post is based in the Occupational Therapy department and is supported by a large and diverse therapies team.
£24,049 - £30,865 pa Inc Pro Rata
