Cell Project Space are seeking for prospective artists, curators, writers, and students to become involved in the Programme at the gallery. The post is voluntary and will require a commitment of 3 hours per week , with extra intense periods of negotiated time during the building and installation of exhibitions.
A maximum of 4 selected people will be selected who will play an active role in the exhibitions programme and related events, and talks . This experience will provide an opportunity for participants to find out more about the reality of contemporary art production, and presentation.
Candidates must either hold a degree, be completing their degree or engaged in post-graduate studies and benefit from working within a small team. You must have already developed a keen knowledge of contemporary visual arts practice and demonstrate that you have an interest in the programme at Cell. Good organisational and practical skills are essential as are literacy and a willingness to participate in administrative and practical tasks.
There will be an opportunity to discuss your own professional development with the team at Cell and work towards providing some input into the programme planning. For exceptional participant this could include a lead role in events development.
