OPEN CALL FOR MEMBERS' RESIDENCY

Proposals are invited from artists interested in undertaking a residency at Bloc Projects for four weeks from 29 August 2014. The residency will be followed by a three week exhibition in the gallery along with an optional artist's talk, event, performance or workshop.
Artists will be offered a bursary of £400, critical and practical support from the Bloc Projects team along with guest artist mentors, to be selected based on the proposed project.
To apply please send a PDF to info [at] blocprojects.co.uk with the subject line Members' Residency by midnight UTC, 22 June 2014 containing:
- An outline of how you would approach the residency and details of the work/research you would like to produce, including images where appropriate.
- CV and statement - Up to 5 images of your previous work
- Your website and contact details

The space has a triple panel glass door, triple panel window and skylights, but can be completely blacked out.

Artists will have access to basic tools and an outdoor area should it be needed for processes requiring ventilation or excess light. The Bloc Projects team can help to source facilities, materials and resources not available on site. Unfortunately we can not offer accommodation as part of this residency but can help artists find suitable places.
