General information
Brief description of organisation
Founded in 2005, project FABRIKA is a well-known independent not-for-profit contemporary visual art and creative industries centre in Moscow. Its vast exhibition venues constantly stage different cultural events and it's an ideal space for the large-scale scientific and practical research of the Moscow art systems, approach, management and environment.
Since 2008 CCI FABRIKA is a member of Trans Europe Halls network for non-commercial independent art-centers.

Brief description of residency program
The aims: Our activity is devoted towards inspiring thought and creativity whilst simultaneously stimulating public curiosity about contemporary art, thereby contributing towards developing the cultural identity of 21st Century Moscow.
Focus: Young Emerging artists´ support, creating new cultural landscape and developing social-engaged projects.
Focused disciplines: visual art, contemporary dance, theatre, new media.
CCI FABRIKA has three public spaces - Large exhibition hall OLIVIE (513 square metres, see the pic), Small exhibition hall ARTHOUSE (240 square meters) which we provide for residents´ presentations; black box theatre venue AKTOVY ZAL (http://www.aktzal.ru) dedicated to experimental cinema, animation, indi-music, contemporary dance and non-verbal theatre.
We provide accommodation, venues for presentation and work studios. Due to our financial situation we haven´t possibility to accommodate them for free, to pay transport and other costs. CCI FABRIKA has one-four guest apartment to accommodate artists working on residency base or participants of the centre's events. The cost of guest appartment - 30 Euro per day for one person.
