Tu Fewn – guest artist-curator for g39

G39 is seeking an ambitious disabled artist-curator to contribute to their process of programming. The successful artist-curator will be commissioned to work with the g39 team for a twelve-month period and will be responsible for devising one of g39's 3-month seasons, comprising a main exhibition with associated projects / exhibition spaces, seminars and talks.
Who is it for?
We are looking for a disabled artist who has a contemporary art practice. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a curatorial sensibility or ambition in their practice. We welcome applications from outside Wales but the project will require the artist-curator to have a presence in Cardiff throughout the 12 months.
What is on offer?
A fee of £7,000 (to cover the artist-curator’s time and expenses, including exhibition costs, travel and accommodation)
Mentoring and practical support from g39
Additional access support may be arranged as required
