Eastside International (ESXLA) Artist-In-Residence program

Eastside International (ESXLA) Artist-In-Residence program

Eastside International Los Angeles

The self-structured residency lasts 3 months and includes a bedroom and adjoining studio for a contemporary visual artist to come to Los Angeles, make new work, network with other artists, spaces, galleries, curators, and others and explore Los Angeles.  Beginning Sept 2015, ESXLA will be restructuring the AIR program to 3-month residency terms.  

APPLICATION DEADLINES: 

Feb-Aug 2015 Rolling deadline for one-, two- or three-month residencies.

FALL TERM - Sept 1st - Nov 29th, 2015
Deadline: May 1st, 2015
Accepted applicants notified mid-May, 2015. 

WINTER TERM - Dec 1st, 2015 - Feb 27th, 2016

Accepted applicants notified mid-August, 2015. 

SPRING TERM - Mar 1st - May 30th, 2016
Deadline: November 1st, 2015 Accepted applicants notified mid-November, 2015.
