Project space available at Enclave
Enclave hosts and supports eight rolling independent spaces in an incubator set-up, where artists and curators can establish mid-long term projects and benefit from physical space, shared audiences, group momentum, peer networks and knowledge sharing. These spaces are currently: Res., news of the world, Divus London, Third Text, Lubomirov-Easton, Call & Response and Victory Press.
From June 1st 2015, one of the independent units at Enclave will be available to rent, creating the opportunity for an ambitious new project space to take up long-term residence to develop and realise their own curated public contemporary art programme within this supportive environment.
Suitable candidates will be not-for-profit projects concerning contemporary art practice and proposing a high amount of critically engaging public activity throughout the year.
The space available is a 325sqft (30sqm) ie 13ft x 25ft (4.05m x 7.6m) private unit, ground floor, double height (allowing for a mezzanine level for storage/office space, if desired), fully wheelchair accessible (incl shared accessible toilet) and has fully glazed frontage, concrete floor, white screed walls, central heating, phone point and 150 lux lighting.
