Following the highly acclaimed Venice Vending Machine during the 54th Venice Biennale & Hamburg Kunst Altonale 2013, MARINA MORENO & ART-E-MOTION invite Artists to reflect and create in a small piece of work, to be encapsulated within a 100mm sphere around the idea of:
OUR GLOBE, OUR DREAM, WHAT IF........
..............Projecting our dream for the world, our reality in the future
This is the theme of the “Venice Vending Machine Edition III, 2015”, that once again proposes to unite artists from all over the world, and project our hopes and thoughts for the future of our world. A unique live art piece that combines an installation of 100+ INTERNATIONAL Artists running from 22 September to 4 October 2015 at the world famous Serra Dei Giardini, adjacent to the entry to the Gardens of the Biennale.
Work/s in any media, whether painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, video in the form of memory stick and less than 3 minutes long, music if presented along with a visual form, and writers, poets, presenting as well in a visual context element. Artwork can be either original or a limited copy of a work. Work must have been produced within the past three years.
The work, in any media, maximum dimension 9cm diagonally will be packaged with the artist’ name and contact details in one of the plastic spheres. These will be placed in the vending machine and will be available through random selection by engaging with & conversing with the curator of the machine.
After delivery of work/s by 23:59:59 September 15, 2015 by all participating artists, ART-E-MOTION will then curate and produce an online catalogue, transport art work to Venice, Italy & install the work at the Serra Dei Giardini, market & promote the artist.
Artists may enter up to 5 pieces of work. A £10 administrative fee is requested upon entry of up to 2 pieces of work.
For any subsequent submission of work, we ask a contribution of £5 per submission, up to a maximum of 5 in total.
