Open Call: The Portico Print Fair

The Portico Library are now accepting submissions to take part in The Portico Print Fair, 3^rd – 21^st December 2015. There is no charge to apply, just £35 for a stand if successful, including free insurance and staffing.

The Portico Print Fair will begin with a free public launch event on Thursday, 3d December in the gallery of the Portico Library on Mosley Street, Manchester, and will then run six days a week until Monday 21^st December. Individual artists, illustrators and designers are invited to participate, as are groups and print studios.

Each stand includes an upright display 130cm x 200cm, plus shared extra space on tables and in racks. There is no need for contributors to attend after installation, though all are welcome, and sales prices are 60% to the artist, 40% to the Portico. All print formats and media will be considered.

To apply, please send up to 8 images of current work to [email protected] with a brief CV and description of your practice by Sunday, 18^th October.

The Portico Library is a historic subscription library and gallery space in Manchester city centre. A changing programme of exhibitions and events complements the 200-year-old collection, and visitors can enjoy a meal or drink in our cafe/bar Monday to Saturday and discover more at www.theportico.org.uk.
