Laura l. Gallery is inviting ambitious women artists with innovative, original work to submit for consideration to our special exhibition, “I Am A Woman And This Is My Legacy”
”I Am A Woman And This Is My Legacy” is a new opportunity for unique female talents whose artwork celebrates imagination, innovation and excellence in their medium. The gallery’s vision is to organize a high profile competition on a unique concept: recognizing contemporary female artists for the difference they make in our society and culture.
Laura l. Gallery invites submissions from emerging or professional women artists working across a variety of mediums or disciplines, regardless of subject matter. Whether this is painting, drawing, photography, print, sculpture, 3D work, installation, relief, ceramics or art jewellery – all are welcome and encouraged.
The project is designed to have a meaningful impact on the career of these extraordinary and talented artists. In addition, the Laura l. Gallery will devote significant time and effort in promoting and selling their work. It will also provide an opportunity for the artists to win amazing prizes that could boost their careers to the next level.
Laura I. Gallery will be selecting 40 women artists to exhibit work and win prizes worth up to £2000 sponsored by Weston Homes PLC alongside the chance to have their work auctioned at the Barking and Dagenham Mayor`s Charity Fundraising event on the 14th of September. The artwork for the auction will be selected by the Mayor and the exhibition curator.
Through the competition, three artists will be leaving home with prize money and five artists will have their work selected for the auction. This will allow artists to not only have their efforts highly praised across all our channels but also provide an excellent opportunity to market and sell their work.
