Fellowships and Scholarship in painting - all expenses paid residencies at the BSR

Abbey Awards offers all residencies with stipends at the British School at Rome for artists, predominantly painters, whose work shows exceptional merit and promise.
The 9 month Scholarship residency is awarded to an early-career artist and offers a monthly stipend of £800.
The 3 month Fellowship residencies, with monthly stipends of £1200, are offered to mid-career artists.
British and US citizens and those of any other nationalities who have lived for at least five years during the last 10 years in either the United Kingdom or the United States are eligible to apply. There is no age limit.
